Isabelle is an Australian author of romantic fantasy, best known for her debut series, Mystic City.
Her love of storytelling began in childhood, sparked by whimsical classics like The Adventures of Tashi by Anna and Barbara Fienberg and Enid Blyton’s The Magic Faraway Tree. As she grew, so did her appetite for deeper magic systems and emotionally rich worlds—diving headfirst into series like Crescent City and The Shadowhunter Chronicles.
Drawing inspiration from Greek and Japanese mythology, Studio Ghibli films, and her obsession with fighting demons in the modern world, Isabelle seamlessly blends fantasy with urban grit to craft immersive worlds full of heart, darkness, and wonder. And from that fusion, Mystic City was born.”
